Artists from the River Valley and beyond have created works of art inspired by books that have faced bans through organized efforts across the country, according to the American Library Association.

You are purchasing an art token to own one of these unique pieces. Token holders will select a work of art through a lottery-style drawing at the community reception on October 25 from 6-8 pm.

The reception is free and open to all.

Proceeds from the event support reading programs in the River Valley.
